It offers a wonderful fruit expression—fresh gooseberry, green apricot, and orange zest. The Kabinett's magnificent balance is truly noteworthy. Compared to the Middle Mosel, this is somewhat finer and more mineral, almost cooler, as it relies less on yellow fruit; at the same time, the acidity is a touch riper than in the Mosel.
