Styria

Styria (Steiermark), birthplace of the Terminator aka Arnold Schwarzenegger. Located in the south-eastern part of Austria, this region is especially known for its white wines. It is commonly divided into:

Südsteiermark: Famous for Sauvignon Blanc, as well as other aromatic whites like Muskateller and Traminer.

Weststeiermark: Known for Schilcher, a rosé made from the indigenous Blauer Wildbacher grape.

Vulkanland Steiermark: Produces a range of white wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay (locally known as Morillon), and Pinot Blanc.
