16.09.2026 - Wine Tasting with Nico from La Brune

Join us at Trinkfluss Wines Godalming for a special evening with Nico Grobler of La Brune, a winemaker devoted to showing just how exciting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir can be in South Africa’s cool climate Elgin Valley.

After working several harvests in Burgundy and falling in love with it's wines, Nico brought that experience home and began creating elegant, finely detailed wines that combine Burgundian inspiration with a distinctly South African character. Today, he and his wife Christelle farm La Brune with a particular focus on vineyards and crafting some of the most exciting wines in the region. 

This will be a seated, casual tasting at our communal table so expect good company, plenty of stories in a fun and relaxed environment.

When? Wednesday, 16th September at 19:30
Where? Trinkfluss Wines, Godalming
Tickets: £30 per person 
What’s included? Apart from a good time you will have a guided tasting of 5 wines poured by Nico on the night plus a spread of cheese and antipasti. Plus you get 10% off any purchases on the night. 

We kick off at 19:30 and wrap things up around 21:30. Tickets can be purchased in store or online.
