The Buena Vida Pie Franco Cabernet comes from 80 year old ungrafted (“pie-franco”) vines that have been organically farmed in Chiles Colchagua Valley. This is one of those wines that really punches above its weight class- Typical Cabernet Sauvignon with its iconic varietal character of fresh blackberry and plum fruit, underlined by a fresh acidity and well structured tannins. There is some real balance and poise to this wine. A great allrounder for your next Taco Tuesdays, Pizza Nights or a hot Chilli dinner.
