Can'Leandro champion forgotten grape varieties in Valencia and this blend of indigenous Merseguera (80%), Malvasia (10%) and Tortosi (10%) will take you off the beaten track, to discover authentic Balearic vibes. High altitude, gobelet vines grown on white limestone (the albariza soil the Jerez region is famous for) make for an incredibly fresh vibrancy, balancing the Mersequera's naturally wild aromas and low acidity. Here everything is about clarity and balance, with lemon peel, white flowers and peach aromas meeting flinty saline character. This is Trinkfluss on Sea, Spanish style. Seafood paella anyone?
