100% Pinot Meunier Champagne is relatively rare, but is increasingly recognised for being just as worthy as its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blending mates of standing alone and giving a pure expression of variety and place. Its red fruited, perfumed and smoky spicy characteristics can be utterly compelling in the right hands and the Vallée de la Marne, where it thrives in the cooler, clay-rich soils while Chardonnay and Pinot Noir tend to struggle, is the ultimate source to get the best examples. "Naturellement" is a true grower champagne from 10th generation vigneron Fabien Cazé. It is naturally farmed and produced and the result is vinous, pure and precise.

Tenth generation vigneron Fabien Cazé isolated 2.66 hectares of his family’s holdings for his own small and ambitious project under the label Champgne Cazé-Thibaut.

With a hands-on approach in the vineyards (certified organic since 2018), and a hands-off approach in his underground cave (slow and cold native yeast fermentations), Fabien is producing precise, terroir-transparent wines from the villages of Châtillon-sur-Marne and Vandières on the western side of the Vallée de la Marne.

A recent inductee into the prestigious and progressive group of Champenois known as Terre et Vins, Fabien is developing a following that will grow and strengthen in the years to come.
