Educardo Torres's Versante Nord are volcanic wines on steroids. The Versante Nord Bianco is a blend of indigenous Sicilian varietals like Minella Bianca, Inzolia, Grecanico, Catarratto and Carricante all sourced from six different vineyard plots on the northern part of Mount Etna. Some of these vines, planted up to 900 metres above sea lever, are well over 80 years old.
Versante Nord Bianco is a spectacular show of force and terroir, packing a punch with a salty mineral edge and tangy citrus notes, grapefruit and clementine. This is a true wine of the Ionian Sea.
