This delicious, spicy blend of Garnacha and Syrah is sourced from organic, high-altitude vineyards around the village of Vanta del Moro. The result is a fragrant red, chock full of bright red fruit, crunchy cherry and blueberry. Even though it's fairly light in style, there is a nice grip on the palate to compliment the juicy fruit and spice. A great value wine from La Comarcal that is a credit to the team's hands-off, minimal intervention approach, with its pure, transparent expression of the landscape and fruit in the glass. Oh, and did we mention it's delicious?

'La Comarcal' is a collaboration between Javi Revert and his good friend Victor Marqués, two of the finest winemakers in Mediterranean Spain.

The project is rooted in a deep love of the Valencian landscape, an area that has abundant untapped potential for winemaking. Javi and Victor are both locals of the area, and together they are uncovering amazing vineyard sites and varieties that have been long overlooked.

La Comarcal means The District - looking for unique plots and dedicated growers to partner with. Winemaking is hands off - fermenting with natural yeasts and ageing in neutral vessels. Javi says: “La Comarcal is the road we travel and the way we seek to expand our project with new vineyards and new varietals. We want to collaborate with friends and bottle the unique places and moments in time we create with wine - that is the philosophy of La Comarcal”.
